* Rotary International was the first organization to be awarded UNICEF's Audrey Hepburn Child Advocate Award in 1995.


* Since 1947, Rotarians have contributed more than US$ 1.9 billion to the Rotary Foundation to help Rotary do good in the world.
* In 2002, The Rotary Foundation achieved a major milestone when the number of major donors reached 5,000. A major donor is an individual or couple who contributes US$ 10,000 to the Foundations Annual Program Fund or permanent Fund.
* The largest gift to date has been from Paul Elder of Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania, USA, an amount of US$ 7 Million.
* Rotary Club of Kowloon East, Hong Kong was declared the 1st 100% major donor club at the 2007 RI convention major donor dinner.

Dear Rotarians, Our Project for distributing 550 Wheel Chairs has started with bang, already 250 Wheel Chairs has been booked and more applications are coming everyday. In this regard we would request you to forward with your requirements of Wheel Chairs at the earliest after doing necessary camps and identifying the needy beneficiary.

You are requested to send complete application with two passport size photographs of the beneficiary Orthopedic Doctors Certificate certifying that the beneficiary would be benefited by getting Wheel Chair and your clubs attestation along with Rs. 400/- per Chair as logistic charges to be borne by the sponsoring club and not to be taken by beneficiary.
