RC EAST CALCUTTA ORGANIZES AN EYE AND HEALTH CAMP

Dear Madam,

Rotary International has taken up "Make Dreams Real" as this yea'rs
theme and focuses on Mother-Child health care and reduction of child
mortality worldwide. Following this theme we happily announce to
organize a FREE EYE CHECKUP & HEALTH CHECKUP Camp at
Banglow Bari, Mullickpur Gobardanga District 24 Parganas (North),
WB, on 7th September 2008, Sunday. We are expecting to serve
around 500 various patients specially Senior Citizens, Mothers and
children. For this, we solicit your active support & participation.

Following Doctors & Organizations have given their consent to
conduct the Checkup :

INVITATION
It is a well-known fact that Life Style is an important determinant
of health of the people. The way we live, our diet, home and outside
environment, office atmosphere, stress and strain, all have got
bearing on health

We are pleased to inform you that Dist.3291, in collaboration with
Journal of Indian Medical Association is going to organise an
Awareness Seminar on Life Style related Diseases, on the occasion of
"World Heart Day" on 28th September, 2008 (Sunday) at Rotary Sadan,
94/2 Chowringhee Road, Kolkata-700 020, where eminent speakers
on the subject will be invited to deliberate.

Also a free General and Cardiac check-up, with Blood Sugar
estimation and EGG, will be organised on the occasion.

All the deliberations will be published in a special issue of "Your Health"
the public Health Magazine of IMA and will be distributed to all the
delegates.

Priest dies and is waiting in line at the Pearly Gates.

Ahead of him is a guy who's dressed in sunglasses, a loud shirt,
leather jacket and jeans.

Saint Peter addresses him, "Who are you, so that I may know
whether or not to admit you into the Kingdom of Heaven?"

The guy replies, "I'm Joe Cohen, taxi driver, from New York."

Saint Peter consults his list. He smiles and says to the taxi driver,
"Take this silken robe and golden staff and enter the
Kingdom of Heaven."

Now it's the priest's turn. He stands erect and booms out, "I am
the Right Reverend Joseph Snow, pastor of Saint Mary's for the
last forty-three years."

Saint Peter consults his list. He says to the priest,
"Take this cotton robe and wooden staff and enter the
Kingdom of Heaven."

"Just a minute," says the priest. "That man was a taxi driver.
Why does he get a silken robe and golden staff?"

"Results," shrugged Saint Peter...........

"While you preached, people slept. When he drove, people prayed."
